EDL Competitive Troop!
For dancers looking to thrive in the world of competitive dance. These students have the opportunity to explore different styles and continue to work on their techniques in various disciplines. During the season, the Competitive Troupe participates in various competitions, as well as our “Mini Show” and our EDL Gala.
Part-Time Program
The competitive part-time program allows students aged 6 and over to dance a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 6 hours per week. Dancers must take a minimum of two technical classes and a maximum of four choreographic classes per week. Students in this program have the chance to develop in certain disciplines chosen from ballet, jazz, acro-dance, hip-hop, tap, broadway, lyrical and contemporary.
Full-Time Program
The full-time competitive program allows students ages 6 and up to train more than 7 hours per week. Students in this program have the chance to develop in several disciplines chosen from ballet, jazz, acro-dance, hip-hop, tap, broadway, lyrical and contemporary.
